In February, we're bringing back one of our favorite craft mediums...collage! In fact, did you know there is an annual, worldwide art challenge called "Februllage"? Organized by the Edinburgh Collage Collective and Scandinavian Collage Museum, the idea is to make an analog or digital collage every day (or whatever pace you want). We'll post the calendar of supporting prompts once it's announced which you can use as inspiration or freestyle on your own. It's an inclusive event for all skill levels and meant to inspire the incredibly power of act of creating, which we all carry within ourselves.
For Unplugged, we're going to do more collage together at our gathering on 2/24 and if you're observing Februllage, it's your chance to also share your work if you'd like. All professional designers and students are welcome to attend, regardless of experience level.
The discussion prompt for this month is 'which goals are you working towards in your career and/or design business and how's it going'?

Parking offers a mix of a dedicated lot and nearby street parking. The library has a small lot (around 25 spots) and free street parking, but the surrounding area is busy. Venture a block or two further from Cass Street/Garnet Avenue into residential streets for potentially easier and free parking. Other club members are willing to help people get to and from and transit stops as needed, plus we encourage carpooling whenever possible.
Contact the organizers for details and to coordinate access if you require assistance.
